This week we had our first class of this module (Introduction to Professional Practice). We start by several questions about documentary: What is a documentary? Why is documentary so important? Are documentaries always truthful? What are the roles in a documentary crew?
At first I just think that documentary is a kind of film which comes from real life, and it must be truthful. But our teacher told us that documentaries are not always truthful. This made me a little bit confused. And I don't know the roles in a documentary crew anymore. Therefore, I will work hard on the knowledge and practice about documentary in the following days this semester.
What's more, our teacher told us that we have two assignments this semester, a voice documentary and a "making of" documentary. We were then separated into groups. My group has six people.
We will work hard together and I'm looking forward to our final work. I believe that will be very nice.
After class, I watched a documentary which is really famous. Its name is Planet Earth.
Although I just watched one episode, I fell in love with this series. It's really charming and amazing.
The picture above is a screenshot of Planet Earth. It is a lovely bird.
This documentary isso amazing that I think I will have a good dream if I watch it beforesleep.
After watchedPlanet Earth, it seemed that I had a little awareness about the sense ofdocumentary, which is to give the audience fun and knowledge, toeducate people and let people to see and know the world
