A few days ago, US President Trump signed anew AI initiative to focus resources and channels on artificial intelligenceresearch to promote the development of the US in the field of artificialintelligence and weaken China's strong momentum in this field.
The initiative, called the AcceleratingAmerican Artificial Intelligence Leadership command, ''will guideorganizations to prioritize investment in research and development inartificial intelligence, increase access to federal data and models for thisstudy, and adapt the entire population. Preparation for the era of artificialintelligence." Executive orders require federal agencies to prioritizeartificial intelligence in their R&D investment, while expanding theauthority of researchers to use government data that is conducive to artificialintelligence research and development.
Five general guidance frameworks havebeen published in this initiative:
1) Research and development: institutionswill be required to increase capital investment and conduct artificialintelligence research to promote new scientific discoveries, economiccompetitiveness and national security;steel tubing manufacturers
2) Infrastructure: Appropriate technicalstandards must be developed to reduce barriers to AI technology securitytesting and deployment to create new AI-related industries and encourageindustry adoption of artificial intelligence;
3) Governance: It is necessary to ensurethe protection of civil liberties, privacy and American values in artificialintelligence applications in order to give full play to the use of artificialintelligence technology by the American people;
4) Labor: We must pay attention to thetraining plan, so that we have the skills to develop and apply artificialintelligence technology in the future, and prepare for today's economy andfuture work;
5) International participation: Projectsneed to be developed in cooperation with other countries, rather than givingthe technological advantages that the United States seeks.
