A chicken chop, a potato chip, when they areproduced, a few years later, there is a potential for a tsunami in the PacificOcean.
If disaster comes, every one ofus who lives in this land is a sinner
In 2018:
Europe started the year withrecord temperatures
North America is unusually cold
Australia has had a severe heatwave,
The extent of ice in the northAntarctic is again well below average
Tropical cyclone ‘Idai’ broughtdevastating floods to three countries.
"Extreme weather continuesin early 2019."
Report after report shows thatglobal warming caused by excessive carbon emissions is pushing the disaster onto human beings. And the carbon footprint of foodconsumption, especially junk food consumption, and the damage it does to theplanet are far greater than we think.
Every one of us has an obligationto take action to reduce carbon emissions. Why not start with a healthy andenvironmentally friendly low-carbon diet?
What is a low carbon diet?A low carb diet is a dietconsisting of low carbohydrate and limited protein.Any "low" carbohydrateintake below the daily average or guideline for a healthy person is a low carbdiet.
Seven benefits of a lowcarbon diet:
😉Faster weight loss
😯Maintain cognitive function in the brain
😃Reduce heart disease and metabolic syndrome
😄Turn off the power of cancer cells
😋Reduce food craving
😊Reduce the risk of type II diabetes
😆Have better intestinal digestion
😎Improve your mood and increase your happiness
How to eat a low carbon diet?
1.Select ingredients
The study found that producinghigh-protein, high-fat foods like meat consumes more energy and emits more CO2than producing grains and vegetables.Studies have shown that producing 1kg ofmeat emits 36.4 kg of carbon dioxide, which is equivalent to driving for 3hours, while eating the same amount of fruits and vegetables emits only 1/9 ofthis amount.
2. Eat less meat, or less red meat and more white meat
Producing red meat produces moreCO2 than producing white meat. Eating less meat or choosing to eatless red meat can reduce CO2 emissions.
(red meat: often refers to themeat that shows its color before cooking, which we collectively call "redmeat"; White meat: white meat presented before cooking, such as poultry, aquatic seafood, including chicken, duck, fish, generally referred to as"white meat".)
3. Eat more vegetables and fruits
Choose and buy more seasonalvegetables and fruits: vegetables and fruits against the season need to useenergy consumption larger planting way. Therefore, reducing the demand forout-of-season fruits and vegetables can better protect the environment.
4. Drink less or hardly anycarbonated drinks such as fruit juice: make fruit juice, creating a lot ofunnecessary carbon emissions.
5. Develop good eating habits
80 percent of the meal isfull. Most modern people have a surplus of nutrition, eat 80% full to reduceexcessive intake of food waste, on the corresponding reduction of carbonemissions
In the entry for "butterflyeffect", there is a sentence that explains it like this:"A smallerror can have huge consequences."
And every food we eat can be the “last straw”. If the earth dies, we are all alink in the chain of destruction.
So! Come on! Make small changes, please!
