化学元素周期表

在 2017 年的一月份全国科技名词委公布了 113号、 115 号、 117 号和 118 号元素中文定名方案， 2017 年是门捷列夫逝世 100 周年。当我在做 KOIE Pro 字间距排版测试的时候，大小写字母的组合让我联想到了化学元素符号，我决定以此为灵感，运用 KOIE Pro 和 KOIE Round 这两款字体设计一张全新的化学元素周期表，向“化学元素周期表之父”致敬。

化学元素周期系统书籍设计

我在化学元素周期表的基础上做了进一步的设计工作，编辑设计了一本化学元素周期系统书籍。这本书是基于化学元素周期系统和周期律的视觉表达，它将化学元素知识视觉化地从一个系统转化到另一个系统中。这本书的设计灵感源于2014 年Eremenko Visual Communication设计的＂ Rediscovering ＂一书。

Periodic Table of Elements

The year of 2017 is 100th anniversary Dmitri Mendeleev's death. In January 2017, the China National Committee for Terms in Sciences and Technologie(CNCTST) published four naming characters for four new elements: 113-Nh, 115-Mc, 117-Ts, 118-Og. When I was testing the letter-spacing of KOIE Pro, the combinations of the uppercases and lowcases

reminded me of the symbols of chemical elements. so I decided to design a brand new Periodic Table of Elements in KOIE Pro and KOIE Round to pay tribute to the Father of the Periodic Table.

The Periodic System of Elements

I took the Periodic Table of Elements design a step further,  by designing

and editing a Periodic System of Elements book. This book projet based on the visual interpretation of the chemical periodic system of elements and

the periodic law. This book transforms the knowlege visually from one

system to another. This book project was inspired by the book "Rediscovering " was designed by Eremenko Visual Communication in 2014.
