Beyond design:
Based on the advanced spoken language translation technology of iFlytek ( Voice Recognition Device Manufacturer ), the translator which is portable and easy to use of high quality could make the simultaneous and accurate translation between multiple languages come true. It helps to build up the bridge for language barrier.
In 2017, Prime Minster of China-Keqiang Li was highly appraised and encouraged by the latest the world’s leading artificial intelligence product from iFlytek in fifth session of the 12th National People's Congress.
Let's start to design:
1.Definition of Ruyi :
It is a portable bluetooth translator that helps Chinese and foreigners communicate face to face in real-time. Ruyi is a combination of a translator device and a companion app.
2.User Scenario :
Main Scenario: traveling aboard
Sub-Scenario: trade cooperation conference of multinational companies
3.Design Strategy :
Sense of secriuty: Give the on-time feedback that the task is achieved/waited/failed to reduce the users' anxiety.
Low cost of learning: A metaphorical orientation is a good way to make users easily understand how to use it.The interface should be clean and simple, highlighting the main functions and hiding the secondary ones.
Universal: The translator is used around the world by a wode global community. Our products should be welcoming and accessible.
4.Getting to work:
In creating the translator, it covers the hardware(device) and software's(companion app )experience which should take the state and human behavior process into consideration. A successful physical integration makes it easy for users to interact with device and companion app seamlessly, to communicate state to customers either visually or with sound, light, tts...
When designing the interface of translation features, we made users to feel conversational. This means that telling the users when they can talk , interrupting the should be supported when another is talking and the customer should be able to easily understand ’s non-verbal states, like listening and thinking about machine.
