姚妙等级分进入女子世界前六!ITRA更改了等级分计算的方法

昨天上ITRA,想看看UTMF的积分有没有出来,结果是UTMF的积分还没有出来(可以理解,今年UTMF因为天气原因被提前中止,只有不到60名选手完成了全程的比赛,赛事组委会决定从A5开始,比赛重新分6个组别,也就是在比赛中止时到达A5或者以后cp点的选手,都有相应组别的积分,这样组委会的工作量也大了许多),但之前被低估的金华100重新进行了调整,从原来的L组难度4积分的赛事恢复到应该有的XL组难度,5积分的赛事,这个要多谢四大的努力,按四大的说法,就是要对得起参加这场赛事的选手们!然后就是发现ITRA更改了计算选手等级分的方法。

关于ITRA等级分计算的变化说明,详细可见:https://itra.run/?id=267。Message fromDidier Curdy, the originator of the ITRA Performance Index,explains:  "Following numerous discussions among the ITRAcommunity, and with runners, organizers and journalists, the ITRA rankingcommittee has undertaken to improve the way in which the Performance Indexis calculated, in order to better reflect runners' performances by slowlydecreasing the value of any given result. At the same time, the rankingtable - which dates back to the creation of ITRA - has been adjusted totake into account the improvement in the overall level of all trail runners. Weare delighted to be able to present these latest major developments".

为什么要做改变?简单来说,就是增强了等级分的时效性!

In response to the wishes of the ITRAcommunity and with a view to continuing to improve the tools provided, ITRAsought to update the calculation of the performance index such that a greaterweighting is given to more recent races, thus providing a more accuratereflection of reality - i.e.  generally speaking, the more recent aresult, the greater its weighting in calculating the index ofperformance.  

也就是新的等级分体系将对近期(12个月内)的比赛给予更高的权重。12个月的比赛获得的等级分会有100%的加权系数,之后同一个比赛获得的等级分加权系数将小于1.每过6个月加权系数将下调一次。

Each result taken into account incalculating the index of performance (general or by category) is now assigned acoefficient in accordance with the date of the race.  For the first 12months after a race, a result is given its full weighting in thecalculation.  After the first 12 months, the weighting of the result isprogressively reduced.  Using a negative coefficient that decreases everysix months, the result still counts but its weighting in the calculation isreduced.  Thus, the index of performance will decrease if the runner runsno further races.  On the other hand, the index of performance willcontinue to improve if the runner achieves better results - as was already thecase.

因此在新的等级分体系下,近期参赛更多更频繁的选手,将会有更高的等级分。譬如在最新的等级分体系下,姚妙的最新等级分达到了795,也因此成为了第一位进入等级分体系前六名的中国选手(女子)!恭喜姚妙!

下面就以跑渣我为例,看看新等级分体系带来什么变化。

可以看到:

我的等级分从原来的490分,提高了3分达到493分。这是因为我最新完成的金华100比赛获得了507分(XL组别),加权系数是1,因此比重最大,而原来更低分的比赛,除了UTMB都超过了一年,所以比重降低,因为总分提高了。

相应地,XXL组别的等级分就从471分下降到了470分,这是因为在这个组别中,我原来最高分的江南168已经超过了1年,权重系数下降,而从UTMB获得的等级分权重还是1,因此总分就下降了。

而L 和M组的等级分下降,则是因为在1年内都没有参加过这两个难度级别的比赛。
